Wilf is a little brown mouse who is “full of busy,” always running, jumping, playing and climbing. And, like most little boys, he’s not always good at listening to his mother. Time and time again, Wilf crashes, bangs and wallops his way into some sticky situations. Mommy is tired after a full day of mishaps, so Wilf makes a surprise to cheer her up. When she reaches for an appreciative cuddle, she doesn’t hear Wilf warning her that everything is about to topple over, and she does a little crashing, banging and walloping herself!
Fearnley’s watercolor illustrations are bright and colorful, perfectly depicting Wilf’s joy and curiosity, as well as his surprise and Mommy’s frustration each time he has an accident. This is an adorable book that kids and parents will easily relate to. Highly recommended for kids aged 3-6.
