Dear Tabby engages the reader from the very first page. Animals send letters to Dear Tabby asking for advice about their unusual problems. As an example, a pet groundhog is feeling the stress of forecasting the weather. I love the creativity the author uses to tell her story! My favorite aspect of this story is the basic human nature that shines through with each character. This book is a definite family read-a-loud. With so many characters and an overlapping storyline the reader will be entertained.
Carolyn Crimi knows animals. She owns a pug called Emerson Crimi-Segreti, who is also known as Sir Scratch and Sniff, Mr. Wiggle Butt, The Mayor, and Circus Dog.
